Chocolate and Walnut Low Carb Brownie Recipe
This recipe is truly amazing and is a reworking of a bunch of different recipes I researched and tested. Try it and see what you think!
- 1 can of black beans – rinsed
- 2 eggs
- 5 tbsp or cocoa or cacao
- 2 tsp of baking powder
- 1/2 tsp of baking soda
- 3-4 tbsp of Stevia or a spoon for spoon sugar replacement
- A pinch of salt
- 1/2 cup of sugar free choc chips
- 1 tsp of vanilla essence
- 1/2 cup of walnut pieces
- Additional: a cup of frozen berries
Preheat oven to 180 degrees
Throw everything into a bowl and blitz with a hand blender or mix all ingredients in a food processor till smooth.
Pour all ingredients into a baking tray and bake for 12-15 mins ( OR if adding berries, cook for 18-20 minutes)
Test by inserting a knife into the centre of the brownie. It’s cooked when the knife comes out clean.
If you can wait till it’s cool, slice and serve with cream. Or serve hot with cream.
