Guide To Better Living Ep6 – Barney Koneferenisi Wheel Black NZ Interview
Barney Koneferenisi has toured the world as a professional athlete. He survived an aggressive bout of meningitis as a young child but lost his hands and his legs, enduring more than 60 operations.
As a teen his ‘can do’ attitude and unwaivering self belief saw him overcoming his physical challenges, becoming a strong, high-achieving individual.
Barney has since studied law, and represented New Zealand in Wheelchair Rugby visiting more than 30 countries and now is doing his part to help people with disabilities get better access and support, helping them get mobile.
